While at the vet to bring in and pick up 3 stray dogs for neutering, a man came in with 5 tiny kittens he had found abandoned in a box. Taken from their mother way too early! With all organizations overcrowded, euthanasia seemed like the last option. I couldn't bear that and took them, alongside my 9-month-old baby that time and 5 other motherless puppies I was already taking care of. Despite the challenges of giving the bottle every two hours and the fear they might die.

We can all keep looking the other way and say it’s a global problem, yes. But if we all help a little, things will get a little better instead of worse. Again and again am I doing all the (dirty) work to take care of those cute puppies and kitties, because callous people don’t take their responsibilities. This could have been prevented. Next time I will be not around, forlorn little creatures. Please please please never take kittens away from the mother, they really need her! 4 kitties have been adopted already and the last one is still looking for a forever home.. One of the 4 lives in Boston now, this is something we really want for the last one too!
